Strategies to Improve the Care of MS in Women

Recent data estimate that multiple sclerosis (MS) occurs 3 times more often in women, and this ratio appears to be increasing over time. Several educational needs specific to the evaluation and management of women with MS have been identified. Strategies to Improve the Care of MS in Women were developed to meet these needs.

Patient Communication Tools

Communication between physicians and patient plays a large role in MS patient care. We have developed a series of patient communication tools specifically for the Care of MS in Women which includes topics such as Reproductive Health/Family Planning, Contraception, and Menopause. These tools will improve the ability to share information relevant to the patients care.
